Widenham Retirement Village is the latest of the Hibiscus Retirement Villages to come on stream, with its flag ship being in Margate. Other villages include Ramsgate and Umdoni.
The newest project will ultimately provide all the amenities included in the other villages, ie bowls club, chapel, hall, swimming pool and frail care. Infrastructure is advancing at a steady pace with roads being cut, to afford the best possible views with the sea in the distance on one side, and natural forest and conservation areas the other.

Widenham Retirement Village, the newest addition to the Hibiscus Retirement Village group, is set on 100 hectares of plush coastal forest in the quaint community of Widenham.
The village will consist of 600 cottages. The amenities currently planned are two beautiful bowling greens, a club house, a swimming pool, tennis courts, a chapel, hall, and a comprehensive frail care centre.
Phase 1 of the new village is complete and phase 2 residents are moving into their homes. We already now have around 200 happy residents in the Widenham Village. Being a new village, there is no waiting list yet for cottages, so get in early and secure your piece of paradise today
