Retirement South Africa has been building its directory since 2017 using publicly available information so that retirement seekers can find you. The listing is free and always will be — but to make sure your details are accurate and enquiries reach you, we encourage you to claim it.
Find your venue in our directory and click the "Claim This Listing" button on the listing page. Fill in your name, job title, work email and phone number and submit. We verify your details and activate your listing within 1–2 business days. Alternatively, visit Claim a Listing directly.
No — claiming is completely free. The Free plan gives you a basic listing with 1 photo, a short description, your phone number and a Send Email enquiry button. You can stay on the free plan indefinitely.
The Free plan gives you basic visibility — 1 photo, 40-word description and phone number displayed.

The Basic plan (R299/month or R249/month annual) adds up to 5 photos, unlimited description, video embed, PDF brochures, all contact details, pricing display and direct enquiry routing.

The Featured plan (R599/month or R549/month annual) adds priority placement at the top of search results, up to 20 photos, homepage carousel, Google Maps, virtual tour, AI-generated write-up, Facebook post sharing and monthly enquiry stats. Everything estate agents need to know about posting classified ads for retirement properties on Retirement South Africa.

Registered estate agents and property practitioners who hold a valid Fidelity Fund Certificate (FFC) issued by the PPRA (Property Practitioners Regulatory Authority). Your FFC number is displayed on every ad and is required by South African law.
R199 per month — which includes up to 5 individual property ads. Each ad auto-expires after 30 days and can be renewed with one click from your dashboard. No per-ad fees.
Up to 5 property ads per billing period. Submit all 5 at once using our multi-property submission form — fill in your agent details once, then add each property separately.
Yes — our submission form lets you add up to 5 properties in a single go. Your agent details (name, agency, FFC, phone, email) are filled in once and apply to all ads. Each property has its own details, pricing, specs and photo gallery.
City/Suburb, Province, listing type, price, property specs (beds, baths, size), photos, description and your contact details. The street address is stored privately and is never displayed on the public ad.
Directly — via your listed phone number and the Send Email button on your ad. Enquiries are never shared with other agents or third parties. You receive them immediately to your registered email address.
A Fidelity Fund Certificate (FFC) is issued annually by the PPRA to registered property practitioners in South Africa. It confirms you are legally authorised to conduct property transactions and is valid for 3 years. Your FFC number is displayed on your ads, giving buyers confidence and meeting compliance requirements.
We review and publish classified ads within a few hours of submission. You'll receive a confirmation email when your ad goes live.
Each ad automatically expires after 30 days. You'll receive a reminder email before expiry and can renew with one click from your agent dashboard. Expired ads are unpublished but not deleted — reactivate them any time.
Yes — log into your agent dashboard to edit any active ad at any time.
